This half-day course enables more experienced or senior employees to facilitate the professional development of their colleagues, which directly generates workforce competency & increases the retention of valuable employees.

Mentoring and coaching are two practical approaches to helping employees become more competent and confident in their professional roles.  Mentoring and coaching follow the same basic process of analyzing and strategically overcoming contextual barriers to professional development; but mentors and coaches differ in how they carry out this process.

This course familiarizes participants with the distinct roles of each approach and provides them with the skills needed to mentor and coach effectively.
